METASEQUOIA v2.3.4 - MOVING EDITTABLE OBJECTS
This is the bread and butter of Meta. Rather than going through the hassle of moving Vertexes one at a time with VRS, Meta gives you free motion controls as well as the handy Command Panel for quick-click shortcuts. If you want ease of use and fewer headaches, then most of your Modding work will be done with Meta. Master this program and your 10ftLx3ftW GSD Mod will look spectacular.
Simple Reminders
- Above all, when you're working on a center Vertex, lock the X
axis. This prevents the "spreading" of the Model when imported back into Model Viewer.
- Remember your Mouse Sub-Commands when dealing with multiple Editable Objects. Shift and Ctrl are your friends.
- Remember to save a backup frequently. During heavy amounts of moving you can do something as simple as tap the Delete key which will ruin your Model. Also don't forget that you cannot combine or delete anything on the Model with Meta.
General Movement
- Select the Move Tool from the Command Panel>Edit.

- Select which Editable Objects you will be working with.

- After you have that done, it's just a matter of clicking on your Editable Object and moving it where you want. Remember, you can also select more than one Vertex at a time.
Precise Movement
- Precise Movement is conducted using the Command Panel Extension of the Move tool.

- The "Rel" button will move your Vertex the distance of the coordinates you've entered, while the "Abs" button will move it to that precise Grid Coordinate.
- With the mouse you could just set things where you wanted, but could never really get the symmetry right? With this you can. Don't forget about Negative and Positive coordinates of the Axises.
