METASEQUOIA v2.3.4 - INTRODUCTION TO UV MAPPING

Is UV Remapping really that hard that I have to make an introduction? No, but Meta offers alot of options that will make your project go alot faster. Especially once you get into remapping the UV for a primitive or creating your own Textures from scratch. When you open the UV Mapping in Meta, a whole mess of stuff comes into play and it will help you to know what each one does.

Configuration
The Configuration Menu can be brought up by selecting Config in the UV Extension.

  • OK - Confirms coordinate input.
  • Normalize - Makes everything normal again? Just guessing.
  • Unify - Combines Editable Objects into one Vertex.

  • Export - Good for external Mapping if used with the Atlas function. This let's you save a copy of the only the UV Mapping that can be placed onto your new Texture to define positions better.
  • Config - Brings up Configuration Menu.
  • Movement Tool - Use this if you lack 2 or more buttons and a wheel on your mouse.
